Belief (Indifference), 41:52
“Say, ‘Do you see that it is from God, and yet you still reject it? Who is more astray than one who is in opposition, and far from the purpose?’ ” 41:52
I once thought that the only ones who rejected the Quran were non-Muslims who did not believe the Quran was from God. Then a met a Muslim who said, “Of course I believe the Quran is from God, I just don’t care. I’m not at all interested. I find the Quran too boring to read.”
This experience casted a new light/shadow on verse 41:52.

Sura 41:10
“He set on the earth, mountains standing firm high above it (When two of the earth’s plates move or collide, vast land areas are uplifted, forming mountains), and bestowed blessings on the earth, and measure therein all things to give them nourishment in due proportion (A food chain is somewhat of a linear sequence of links in a food web starting from a trophic species that eats no other species in the web and ends at a trophic species that is eaten by no other species in the web), in four days (A day may represents a billion years in this verse. Earth formed approximately 4.54 billion years ago, and life appeared on its surface within one billion years), in accordance with the needs of those who seek them.”

What do you think about when you read the phrase “God created the heaven and the earth in six days”?
The two things I reflect on, and ask children to reflect on each time we read this phrase in the Bible or the Quran is…
1) The scientific age of the universe, Milky Way Galaxy, and earth.
2) The fact that the Bible together with the Quran revealed that the universe is three times as old as the earth, and the Milky Way Galaxy is twice as old as earth, and that it revealed this millennia before our science could reveal it. (The universe was created in six days (Exodus 20:11, Quran 32:4), the Milky Way in 4 days (Quran 41:10 this is an educated guess), and the earth in two days (Quran 41:9). The universe is 13.7 years old, the Milky Way 9.1 years, and Earth is 4.54 billion years old. Both say the universe is three times as old as the earth, and the Milky Way is twice as old as the earth).
For in six days the Lord created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:11)
It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six days, and is firmly established on the throne of authority. You have none besides Him to protect or intercede for you. Will you not then receive advice? (Quran 32:4)
Say, is it that you deny Him Who created the earth in two days? And do you join equals with Him? He is the Lord of all the worlds. (Quran 41:9)
