Sybolism (Unusual Stories), 69:11-12
“When the water overflowed beyond its limits, We carried you in the Ark, that We might make it a message for you, and that ears which hear the story retain it to memory, and bear its lessons in mind.” 69:11-12
Memory masters tell us (as detailed in the video below) that when they want to remember something, they connect it with something memorable, such as an image or a story. The less ordinary,and more unusual the image or story, the more unforgettable.
As it is with God’s stories in the Quran; the less ordinary and more unusual He makes His stories, the easier they are for us to remember them. And the easier the stories are to remember, the easier the lessons associated with them are to apply.
And although I have found that some verses are easier to gain lessons from than others, I have found that if I simply write down what comes to mind, phrase by phrase, truths which I need to remember to apply are always revealed.

Quran/Muhammad, Suras 81:19, 69:40, 33:33
Is the Quran the word of Allah and Muhammad?
Are the verses in Surahs 69 and 81 explaining to us that the Quran is the word of Allah and Muhammad? If so, one way to understand it could be like we understand that the song sung by a singer that was written by a song writer, is a song by both the singer and the songwriter.
And perhaps by understanding how the Quran is the word of Allah and Muhammad also explains how following the Quran is following Allah and His Messenger (33:33).
